What is kinesiology and why consult in Geneva?
Overview of kinesiology and its benefits
La kinesiology is a gentle, natural method that aims to restore the body's overall balance by taking three dimensions into account: physical, emotional and energetic. Its main tool? The muscle test. By assessing the tone of certain muscles, the kinesiologist identifies stresses and blockages - whether conscious or buried - and implements targeted techniques to release them.
Considered a complementary therapy, kinesiology never replaces a medical diagnosis or treatment. It acts as a bridge between Western medicine and more gentle approaches, by working on the root causes of your imbalances rather than on the symptoms alone.
The benefits of kinesiology are many and varied:
- Managing stress, anxiety and anguish
- Release of emotional blocks (anger, sadness, fears, guilt)
- Improved sleep and reduced chronic fatigue
- Relief of physical pain with no identified medical cause
- Boosting self-confidence and self-image
- Support for life transitions: burn-out, maternity, post-partum, bereavement, divorce
- Helps learning and concentration (children and adults)
Whether you're going through a difficult period or simply want to understand yourself better, kinesiology offers you a space to listen to your body and reconnect with your inner resources.
Course of a kinesiology session in Geneva
Are you wondering how a kinesiology session actually works? Here are the main stages:
1. Initial exchange - We start by discussing your needs, feelings and goals together. This is a time for listening, without judgement, to lay the foundations for the session.
2. Muscle test - Thanks to this test, your body guides us towards the priorities of the moment. It decides what is ready to be worked on, here and now.
3. Corrections and rebalancing - Depending on what the test reveals, I use different tools: energy corrections, emotional releases, eye movements, EFT (emotional freedom technique), neuro-lymphatic points, Brain Gym, among others.
4. Debriefing - We take the time to take stock of what has happened during the session, what has been realised and any recommendations for the future.
Duration : The first session lasts about 1.5 hours (to establish your objective and find the right method). Subsequent sessions last around 1 hour.
ℹ️ You don't have to believe it to make it work! The muscle test gives precise answers, whether you believe it or not. Your body knows what's good for you.

How do I choose the right kinesiologist in Geneva?
Essential criteria for choosing a kinesiologist
Finding the right kinesiologist is a bit like finding the right doctor: competence counts, but so does feeling. Here are the key criteria to check:
- ASCA or RME certification : This is your guarantee that the practitioner has undergone training that is recognised in Switzerland. It is also an essential condition for reimbursement by your supplementary insurance.
- Solid training : check the techniques you have mastered (Brain Gym, Touch for Health, One Brain, Santé par le toucher, etc.). The more tools the kinesiologist has, the better he or she will be able to adapt to your situation.
- Specialisation: Some practitioners are more experienced with children, burn-out, chronic pain or emotional problems. Make sure the profile matches your needs.
- Listening and feeling : A relationship of trust is fundamental in kinesiology. An initial telephone call or message may be all it takes to get a feel for the relationship.
- Easy to book : A kinesiologist who can book appointments online (like Calendly) makes it much easier to access sessions.

Kinesiology for children, adults and specific situations
One of the great advantages of kinesiology is that it can be adapted to all ages and situations. Here are the main groups I work with at my practice:
Children and teenagers - Children respond particularly well to this gentle approach. Kinesiology can help them to cope better with their emotions, soothe sleep disorders, improve concentration and attention, or overcome fears and anxieties linked to school.
Adults under pressure - Stress at work, anxiety, burn-out, mental overload... Kinesiology helps you identify the sources of tension and release them in depth, to regain clarity, energy and serenity.
Women in transition - Motherhood, the post-partum period, the menopause... These periods of life have a profound effect on the body and emotions. Kinesiology can help you get through these times more gently and with greater confidence.
Special situations - Addictions, bad habits, self-image problems, chronic pain with no medical cause... Kinesiology offers a safe space to explore these issues and move forward at your own pace.
In addition to kinesiology, I also offer consultations in Bach Flower Remedies (face-to-face or distance learning) and the Bye Bye Allergies for the natural treatment of allergies, intolerances and sensitivities.
