Kinesiology Nyon & Gland: Rediscover your emotional and physical harmony
Do you sometimes feel that your body is trying to tell you something, but you don't have the decoder? Perhaps you feel persistent fatigue even though your medical tests are normal. Or maybe it's that lump in your stomach, that chronic stress that stops you breathing, or those repetitive patterns that make you say «Why is this happening to me again?»
If you live in Nyon, Gland or in the region, But you're not alone when it comes to these problems. We often look outside ourselves for complex solutions, when the key is already inside us.
I'm Johanna, and in my practice in Gland (5 minutes from Nyon), I'll help you get back on track. My tool? The kinesiology. A gentle but powerful approach to working on all levels: physical, emotional and energetic.

Beyond the symptoms: Understanding why you're going round in circles«
We live in a society where the mind is king. We analyse, we think, we rationalise. But all the while, your body is recording everything. This is what we call the cellular memory. Every trauma, every unexpressed fear, every emotional shock leaves a trace, a bit like a file hidden in a computer that slows down the whole system without being seen.
This is often where problems arise. You can try to «think positive», but if your body has memorised a state of danger or stress, it will remain on alert. That's where I come in. We're not just going to talk about your problems, we're going to question your body to understand what's going on. the origin blocking.
A Holistic approach: Head, Body and Heart aligned
To get better in the long term, it's not enough to put a band-aid on the pain. You have to look at the whole human being. This is at the heart of my approach holistic :
- The Structural & Physical Plan : Your back pain, your posture, your chronic muscle tension. Sometimes a muscle that's «flabby» (hypotonic) or too tight (hypertonic) tells a story of stress you've been carrying around for years.
- The Emotional & Mental Plan : Your fears, your phobias, your repressed anger, but also these limiting beliefs («I'm not capable», «I don't deserve») that sabotage your potential and your self-confidence.
- The Energy Plan : Inspired by Chinese medicine, we work on the circulation of vital energy in your meridians. An energy blockage can lead to intense fatigue or a lack of clarity.

The 3 main pillars of my support
eople come to see me in Gland for a wide variety of reasons, but there are often three main groups of needs. Do you recognise yourself here?
1. Stress and Emotions Management
Stress is the evil of the century. But it's not just about being in a hurry. I'm talking about the stress that activates your sympathetic nervous system constantly, preventing you from really resting. This can take the form of anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping or constant irritability. Thanks to Behaviour barometer and emotional release techniques, we will identify the blocked emotion to enable your system to switch back into «parasympathetic» mode (relaxation and recovery).
2. Psychosomatic and physical pain
«It's all in the head.» How many times have you heard this infuriating phrase? If you're in pain, the pain is real. But it can also be emotional. We're talking about pain psychosomatic. A lumbago may be linked to material insecurity, or an upset stomach to something in your life that you are unable to «digest». By releasing the associated emotional charge, we often see a spectacular reduction in physical tension.
3. Learning and the Brain (For young and old)
Kinesiology is also well known for its benefits on learning (concentration, dyslexia, ADHD). Sometimes stress «disconnects» communication between your two cerebral hemispheres (the logical left and the creative right). With techniques like Brain Gym, We work on hemispheric integration and motor coordination. It's ideal for children who are having difficulty at school, but also for adults who need to get back into shape. clarity creativity and better decision-making skills.
What my customers say!
My «Toolbox»: How do you reactivate your self-healing?
You're probably wondering: «In practical terms, how do you go about knowing all this?». That's an excellent question. I am neither a clairvoyant nor a magician. I use precise and verifiable tools.
The Muscle Test: Your inner GPS
It is the keystone of kinesiology. It is a tool for biofeedback. The principle is simple: when your system is in balance when faced with a question or situation, your muscle tone is stable. When there is stress, the tone changes (the muscle «lets go»).
By testing the resistance of a muscle (often in the arm), I establish a direct dialogue with your body. It guides us. It tells us :
- Where is the priority blockage?.
- What is the associated emotion?.
- When did this blockage occur (we sometimes use the term age recession to return to the precise moment of the initial trauma).
- What correction is needed to restore the balance?.
Correction techniques
Once the information has been found, we move on to the rebalancing phase. Depending on what your body needs, I use :
- Touch for Health: To rebalance muscles, thanks in particular to the meridians.
- Brain Gym : Simple movements to reconnect brain and body.
- The One Brain (Three in One Concepts): To release deep emotional stress and change your perception of a past situation.
- Bach Flower Remedies : Flower essences that subtly act on the emotional sphere to harmonise your state of mind.
- Wellness Kinesiology : For long-term stress management.

How a session unfolds: caring and safety
I know that seeing a therapist, especially for the first time, can be intimidating. In my practice in Gland, I've created a «safe» space where you can let everything out, without judgement.
1. Anamnesis (The exchange)
We always start by talking. You tell me why you're here, what's bothering you, what you'd like to change. Together, we define a positive objective for the session. For example, you don't work on «I don't want to be afraid any more», but on «I want to feel safe and confident». This nuance changes everything for your brain.
2. Preparation
You remain clothed and lie comfortably on the massage table (or remain seated if necessary). I do a few pre-tests to make sure that your energy is flowing well and that your muscular responses are clear.
3. Investigation and Balancing
This is the heart of the session. Guided by the muscle test, I retrace the steps. Sometimes we come across a recent emotion. Sometimes we go back to childhood. The aim is not to relive the traumatic experience in pain, but to free gently. You remain aware and active throughout. We then apply the necessary corrections.
4. Anchoring
At the end of the session, we check that the objective has been achieved. You often leave with simple exercises to do at home (movements, positive phrases) to anchor the change in the long term. That's what’autonomy to give you the keys to moving forward.
Who I am Johanna, your wellness ally
Behind the therapist is the human being. My name is Johanna, I'm 32, and my background is perhaps a little like yours.
I discovered kinesiology about fifteen years ago, not as a practitioner, but as a client. At the time, I was looking for answers to the pain and anxiety that were ruining my life. Traditional medicine offered me neither a diagnosis nor solutions to the «root» of the problem. Kinesiology was a revelation: I realised that my body was screaming out what I didn't dare say.
For years I worked in administration. I was behind a desk, doing what was expected of me. But deep down, I felt I was fading away. I'm an empathetic, sociable person, I like real contact. One day, things just clicked: I didn't want to put up with my professional life any more, I wanted it to have meaning.
So I went back to school (and what a way it was!). I trained intensively: Health through touch, Brain Gym, One Brain, Wellness Kinesiology, Bach Flowers...
Today, I'm qualified kinesiologist recognised by ASCA. This certification is your guarantee of seriousness and professionalism (and is often reimbursed by supplementary insurance companies).
My mission? To create a bridge. I'm not rejecting Western medicine - it's essential. But I offer a complementary, gentler approach that takes the time to listen to the emotion behind the symptom. I welcome you with kindness, good humour and always a touch of humour (because healing can also be a joy!).
